Beyond the Music: A Musical Geography of Mexico (Cincinnati)

Sones de México Ensemble performs their lively and informative free lecture demo and music show entitled “Beyond the Music: A Musical Geography of Mexico”.

Experience a guided tour through Mexico’s folk music regions with live demonstrations by the Ensemble. Find out everything you ever wanted to know about Mexico’s regional folk culture and music (but were afraid to ask).

Sones de México Ensemble will perform a one-hour presentation featuring different regional styles of Mexican folk music using a variety of authentic instruments from as many as 12 different regions of the country.

ADMISSION IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
