The program includes songs\, storytelling and interactive games between the songs that are delivered in English and Spanish. \nThe group embarks on a journey through Mexican music and the magic world that surrounds it. Children begin by learning about the four sacred elements of nature for the Aztecs: Earth\, Wind\, Fire\, and Water. Then they learn songs about different animals that inhabit the Mexican ecosystem\, including the acamaya (a crawfish)\, the crocodile\, the legendary mermaid\, a mouse\, a buzzard\, a duck\, and even a cat! Kids will clap Mexican rhythms and learn the difference between a slow and a fast tempo with the help of Doña Sabina\, a 100-year-old special guest. First and foremost\, everyone in the audience will learn how fun it is to play and dance Mexican music. \n$10 admission. On the 17th of August\, celebrate your 15th birthday with us and enjoy an unforgettable experience like only Navy Pier has to offer. \nAfter meeting in the Crystal Gardens\, all participating young ladies will be treated to a free\, professional photo to commemorate the occasion\, along with one complimentary ticket to ride the Centennial Wheel. \nSones de México Ensemble will celebrate along with them by performing a concert at 6:30 (after the photo shoot) at the Navy Pier’s Wave Wall Performance Platform. \nA popular Latin American tradition\, quinceañera is a celebration of a girl’s coming of age\, marking the transition from childhood to young adulthood in the Latin American culture.
