Sones de México Ensemble returns to the Pilsen neighborhood for a benefit concert to support community organization Casa Aztlán. The theme of the event is “Re-imagining Casa Aztlan on 18th Street”. Acknowledging the strengths of Mexican families, Casa Aztlán seeks to sustain the strong cultural identity of the Pilsen community by organizing and educating residents and providing supportive services in order to combat social violence, discrimination and poverty.
