Fiesta Mexicana Family Concert is a fun and engaging program based on the Parent's Choice Award-winning Sones de México Ensemble album "Fiesta Mexicana: Mexican Songs & Stories for Niños & Niñas and Their Mamas & Papas". Danza de Viejitos: Family Mask Making Workshop

Members of Sones de México Ensemble bring our popular children's educational program to the Woodridge Public Library. We'll teach children how to make a mask out of paper plates and tell them about the traditions of the Pur'hepecha people of Michoacan. At the conclusion, they'll lead everyone in the the dance of "old people" (viejitos), where they can wear their masks. Mole de Mayo Festival

Sones de México Ensemble returns to Mole de Mayo, an annual festival celebrating mole, the incredible culinary dish from Mexico.
