Sones de México Ensemble joins the festivities marking the total solar eclipse that will pass directly over Carbondale, IL on April 8, the second time in 7 years that Carbondale has had a solar eclipse pass over it. Sones de México Ensemble was there then, and now we are returning.

We have multiple appearances throughout the day that include:

3-4 PM Beyond the Music Foodways Edition: A MUSICAL AND CULINARY GEOGRAPHY OF MEXICO on the Patio
5 PM Sones de México Ensemble “Fandango” jam session on the Patio
