Experience a guided tour through Mexico’s folk music regions with music, dance, narration, and multimedia. Different regions of the country have unique instruments, repertoire and techniques rarely heard outside these regions. Some of the styles covered include son jarocho, son huasteco, gusto, son istmeño, chilenas, and a dozen other styles. The presentation takes place at the College of Lake County’s Southlake Campus in Vernon Hills, IL.
