Members of Sones de México Ensemble bring our popular children’s educational program to the Woodridge Public Library. We’ll teach children how to make a mask out of paper plates and tell them about the traditions of the Pur’hepecha people of Michoacan.

At the conclusion, they’ll lead everyone in the the dance of “old people” (viejitos), where they can wear their masks.
