Experience a guided tour through Mexico’s folk music regions with music, narration, and multimedia. Different regions of the country have unique instruments, repertoire, and techniques rarely heard outside these regions. Styles covered include son jarocho, son huasteco, gusto, son istmeño, chilenas, and a dozen other styles.

CALOR and Rincon Family Services are sponsoring 16 of Chicago’s best Latinx artists to promote the importance of greater participation of Latinos in Census 2020.
